A lot of people really can’t answer that question correctly. Maybe one of the most important questions of mine and yours is, "are you truely happy?" Not only did the economy prompt me to ask this, but it was also the point of my career and family. I have enjoyed telling you some things that have been on my mind, and Oh yeah by the way.“let's all get happy!” Danny Rampey AS THIS IS MY LAST COLUMN FOR CHAMBERING, I wanted to let all of you know what, at this point in my life, has more meaning to me than anything right now…just being happy! As Chairman of the Barrow County Chamber of Commerce and the spokesper-son for business in Barrow County, there are very serious questions and issues that I have asked myself this past year. Make the people around you happy and watch not only your business take off, but your life and family’s lives improve tenfold. If there is one thing I want to leave you with it's this message. You are probably wondering why I am dwelling on this. The best way I know to live in happiness is to live in gratitude-focusing on all that you have and all that you are, right now. Happiness is a complete state of mind, and you can continually choose to be happy. It is not derived from the outside it is only derived from within. The bottom line is that happiness creates. Typically this means comparing yourself to others, which is dan-gerous because there will always be refer-ence points that will cause you to be unhappy.

The only real way we know how to judge something is by comparing it to something else. In other words, you really just make up the idea of whether you are happy or not.
